She stole my MINOR sons picture 😆

And then she also took my middle daughters picture and then mine from when I was a baby 😆

This whack job is really going to take my 15 y/o, 4 y/o and my picture. What an absolute mess this woman is. Personally I’m flattered by it… she really thought she was doing something here hahaha

The last pic is who she claims to be before but we all know that’s probably stolen too bc someone that “godly” isn’t acting this mentally unhinged and petty trolling everyone who doesn’t agree with her countless abortions as a form of birth control - bc that’s just gross to use an abortion for such. Too bad she made her profile private now… rather frightening to think this person potential works in healthcare, which is probably all BS too hahaha @itsSaléna💕

... Read moreIt's truly a shocking and violating experience when you discover someone has taken your personal photos, let alone pictures of your minor children, and used them without permission. I'm still reeling from finding out someone, an individual I've identified as 'itsSaléna,' not only grabbed my son's picture but also my daughter's and even one of me as a baby! It's one thing to feel flattered by imitation, but this crosses a serious line into invasion of privacy and potential online harassment. If you're going through something similar, you're not alone, and there are steps you can take. First and foremost, document everything. This is crucial. Take screenshots of the stolen photos, the profile where they're posted, any associated comments, and the date and time. In my case, seeing details like 'CRNA' or 'Catholic' in their public profile, as I noticed with 'itsSaléna,' doesn't change the fact that they've committed a privacy violation. Gathering this evidence will be invaluable if you decide to report it to the platform or even pursue legal action. Without solid proof, it's much harder to get these posts removed. Next, report the content to the platform immediately. Social media platforms like Lemon8 have strict policies against the unauthorized use of images, especially those of minors. Look for the 'report' button or option on the post or profile. Be clear and concise in your report, explaining that the images are yours (and your children's) and were used without consent. Mentioning that your children are minors adds extra weight to the report, as platforms take child safety very seriously. Don't engage with the person directly; often, this can escalate the situation rather than resolve it. Review and strengthen your own privacy settings. This situation was a wake-up call for me. Go through all your social media accounts, including Lemon8, and ensure your profiles are set to private if you're not comfortable with strangers seeing your posts. Be mindful of what you share publicly, particularly photos of your children. While it's lovely to share snippets of our lives, the internet is forever, and unfortunately, not everyone has good intentions. Consider blurring faces or not posting full-face images of minors in public forums. If the situation involves minors or feels like it's escalating into online harassment or even identity theft, don't hesitate to seek legal advice. Depending on where you live, there might be laws protecting against the unauthorized use of images, especially for commercial purposes or harassment. A consultation with a lawyer specializing in cyberlaw can help you understand your rights and options. This is especially important when the person seems "mentally unhinged," as I've described this individual. Finally, prioritize your emotional well-being. Discovering something like this can be incredibly distressing. It's okay to feel angry, violated, or scared. Talk to trusted friends or family members about what you're experiencing. Don't let someone else's inappropriate actions impact your peace of mind more than they already have. Sometimes, simply knowing you've taken steps to address the issue can bring a sense of control back. Remember, your online safety and the safety of your family are paramount. Stay vigilant, stay protected, and don't be afraid to speak up.
