Healing is a deeply personal journey that doesn't always follow a straight line. From my own experience, I’ve learned that embracing your scars is a vital part of genuine self-love. Instead of trying to erase the pain or ignore the past, it’s about acknowledging the hurt and allowing yourself to feel those emotions fully. Some days will be stronger than others, and that’s okay. I found that allowing myself to fall apart sometimes actually helped me rebuild in a healthier way. Missing people who caused pain or reliving difficult memories isn’t a sign of weakness, but a natural aspect of healing. What matters most is the decision to keep moving forward despite the setbacks. Patience is essential. Healing doesn't mean the pain vanishes—it means you no longer let it control your life. This mindset shift opened new doors for me in practicing self-love, where I could appreciate my worth beyond my past wounds. Remember, healing is not a destination but a process of growth where feeling it all—both the good and the bad—is part of becoming whole again.
