I’ll post a video of the parts tomorrow if anyone is interested. I bought this lift kit from a fellow Bug owner in OKC & never used the parts. Sorry, I won’t ship it to you but if you’re close, we can meet up or you can come to me. I’ll have to double check what other parts I have stored in the Bug that is apart of this DIY lift kit but every part is brand new & still in the packaging. It’s all just taking up space plus I’m pretty content with the solid OEM suspension my Bug currently sitting on. I’m only selling the lift kit I bought for it. Considering I now have something for off-road/snow, it’s also a v6 & the DIY lift kit parts aren’t universal for the Highlander - I don’t really need those parts anymore. Eventually, I’ll be back in the Bug for the MPGs but not any time soon.

... Read moreThe MK4 New Beetle is a popular compact car known for its unique retro styling and reliable performance. Upgrading its suspension system with a DIY lift kit can improve ground clearance and off-road capabilities, making it a great choice for drivers facing snowy or rugged terrain. A DIY lift kit typically includes components such as spacers, shocks, struts, and other hardware that raise the vehicle's body higher above the wheels without compromising stability. This particular DIY lift kit is designed specifically for the MK4 New Beetle, ensuring compatibility and ease of installation. Since the parts are brand new and still in packaging, potential buyers can expect optimal performance and longevity. However, lift kit parts are generally non-universal, meaning they may not fit other models like the Toyota Highlander, so confirming vehicle compatibility is crucial. Using a lift kit can also enhance the aesthetic appeal of the Beetle, especially for enthusiasts who enjoy customized or lifted vehicles. Owners often combine lift kits with larger tires or off-road accessories to complete the look and functionality. Since the seller is located in Northwest Arkansas and prefers local pickups, it’s advisable for interested buyers in the area to arrange a meetup to inspect the kit before purchase. Videos and detailed images of the parts can aid in understanding the components included and their condition. Eventually, some Beetle owners opt to return to the standard OEM suspension for a smoother ride and improved fuel efficiency, particularly for daily highway use. The DIY lift kit can be a temporary upgrade for seasonal use or adventurous trips, offering flexibility for various driving needs. Overall, investing in a DIY lift kit for your MK4 New Beetle is a cost-effective way to upgrade your vehicle’s suspension for better off-road and winter performance without significant modifications. Ensure you have the right tools and follow manufacturer instructions for a safe and successful installation.
