Barcelona July 5 - 12, 2024

RAF and I were supposed to go Mexico, but Hurricane Beryl said ✨no✨ and cancelled our flight two days before we were meant to leave.

The airline gave us a flight credit and 24 hours to figure out where we’d go instead and the hotel refunded us (truly a miracle 🥹). 2 hours of staring at the airline’s flight tracker and searching for the sexiest hotel possible we chose Barcelona!

Here's what we got up to💃🏾:

📸 1: RAF & I landed in Madrid early in the morning, took a high speed train to Barcelona, checked in, changed, & hit the beat to find some food!

📸 2: Gorgeous random little streets are one my favorite things about traveling to Europe

📸 3: We booked a free-ish (tip encouraged!) walking tour online and walked through the Gothic Quarter with an amazing guide!

📸 4: I surprised RAF by booking a rental car to drive up to Blanes for our beach day. We bought a pop up tent from Decathlon, lots of snacks, and stayed out there for hours!

📸 5: Feeling myself on las ramblas 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↕️

📸 6: Views from the top of Castell de Sant Joan. It’s a treacherous (narrow road + super steep) 15 minute drive from Blanes Beach and absolutely breathtaking.

📸 7: Last day flurry to buy stuff from the shops we saw on the walking tour! Ya girl dropped a bag but it was worth it 😪😮‍💨
