Y’all don’t believe me!

The journey to higher education can be challenging, especially for women of color. According to recent statistics, only a small percentage of Black women earn Bachelor's degrees, highlighting the need for more representation and support in academia. It's essential to share stories like mine, as they help inspire future generations to pursue their education goals and overcome societal barriers. Educational institutions are increasingly recognizing the importance of diversity and inclusion, which plays a crucial role in fostering an environment where all students can thrive. Initiatives aimed at supporting Black women in education are critical for closing the achievement gap and promoting equal opportunities. Together, we can break down stereotypes and pave the way for change, proving that higher education is attainable for everyone, regardless of their background.
