Why I Quit Modeling

The modeling industry can be a demanding space, with its intense focus on specific aesthetics and ever-changing trends. Many models, like myself, encounter challenges as they navigate their careers, particularly after significant life changes, such as motherhood. After transitioning away from traditional modeling roles, I rediscovered my passion for creative shoots that align with my personal interests, exploring avenues such as photography, cosplay, and live events. Working as an independent contractor has allowed me the freedom to curate projects that resonate with my artistic vision and capabilities, emphasizing the importance of self-expression in a field often dictated by external decisions. Moreover, the growing emphasis on authenticity in social media has encouraged other models and creatives to redefine their careers, focusing on genuine connections and projects rather than fitting a mold.
