Entering RMNP through Estes Park, we went on a hike on the Cub Lake Trail. It is 5.2 miles total (an out and back trail) and has an elevation gain of only 705 feet. It was a pretty easy hike that is great for beginners. However, I would recommend spikes on your hiking boots because some spots were
