Wow, what a crafty June it's been! I absolutely loved diving into so many fun DIY projects, and honestly, ranking them was half the fun. It's so cool to look back and see all the creative things I managed to whip up. You might have seen my recap image titled 'Ranking my June Crafts' – it was a true labor of love! Now, as I gear up for July, I'm already feeling that creative itch, but I'm a little stuck on what to tackle next. But first, let me share a bit more about some of my absolute favorites from the June lineup, especially for those of you looking for some summer crafting inspiration! One project that got a lot of smiles was the decorated 'CHILL PILL' and 'SOS' pill bottles. These were such a blast to customize! I grabbed some plain old pill bottles (cleaned them out, of course!), then used various beads, sequins, and letter beads to spell out fun, positive messages. They're perfect for holding small treasures, emergency bobby pins, or just as a cute desk accessory. What a great way to turn something ordinary into a personalized pick-me-up! Another highlight was the felt 'Summer bucket list/scrapbook' for 2025. This was a fantastic family project. We cut out little felt shapes like ice cream cones, sailboats, and watermelon slices, then stitched or glued them onto a larger felt board. Each section represents a summer goal or memory. It’s not just a craft; it's a way to plan adventures and keep those precious summer moments alive. If you’re looking for a lasting keepsake, this is definitely one to try. And who could forget the 4th of July themed shirts? My family and I had a blast making these, and they were a huge hit for our celebrations. We went with a mix of iron-on transfers and fabric paint. For the guys, we even did one with a cool cowboy boot design and another with an American flag – super festive! This is such an easy and impactful way to get into the holiday spirit, whether you're making them for yourself, your kids, or even for a girls' night in with some fabric markers and glitter! Speaking of summer vibes, the seashell wall decor also made the cut. After a beach trip, I collected some beautiful shells and starfish. Arranging them artfully on a light fabric background in an ornate gold frame turned them into a stunning piece of coastal art. It’s a wonderful way to bring a piece of the seaside indoors and cherish those vacation memories. Now, because I’m on the hunt for fresh ideas, I’m wondering if any of these June crafts spark inspiration for your July projects? Perhaps a personalized item like the pill bottles, or a themed outfit like the 4th of July shirts? Maybe something to capture summer memories like the felt scrapbook or seashell decor? I'm really trying to brainstorm some unique and fun ideas for July. I want something that feels fresh and exciting. Do you have any suggestions for craft ideas that are perfect for summer, maybe something involving bright colors, outdoor themes, or even DIY gifts? I’m open to anything – whether it’s a crafty mom project I can do with my little ones, or something fun for a girls' night craft. I'm feeling a bit creatively drained, so all your comments and suggestions would be super helpful! What should I make in July?
