Can’t believe he is in kindergarten 😢
Sending my kindergartner to school with something special from home has been a truly emotional and rewarding experience. As a mom who enjoys crafting, I decided to create a handmade felt keepsake to give my child a sense of comfort and security during his first days in kindergarten. This small gift acts as a tangible reminder of home and love, helping ease any anxieties he might feel being in a new environment. What made this project so meaningful was choosing materials and designs that resonated with him personally. The felt provided a soft texture that was soothing to touch, and I incorporated bright colors and shapes that he loves. Not only is it a creative outlet for me as a mom, but it also supports my child's emotional well-being by giving him something special and personal to hold onto. I highly recommend other parents and crafty moms try making similar items for their little ones starting school. It’s a wonderful way to express love and support while also engaging in a fun, hands-on project. Plus, it’s a keepsake that my son can treasure even as he grows older. Sending him off with a unique felt craft has made saying goodbye just a bit easier for both of us, and it’s heartwarming to see how such a simple token can brighten a child’s day at school.
