ONE PAW. SO MUCH PAIN.
How does ONE little paw cause SO much pain?! 😂🐾
She’s only 26 lbs, but somehow that one paw has the weight of a full-grown elephant. And do I move her?
Absolutely not.
Because Frenchie parents know… you don’t move the baby. You suffer. 😂🐶

As a fellow French Bulldog owner, I can totally relate to the feeling of that "one little paw" causing a surprisingly huge amount of pain! Despite their small size, Frenchies have dense, muscular bodies, and when they decide to rest their paw or lean on you, the impact feels much heavier than you'd expect. This experience is common among many Frenchie parents who quickly learn that trying to move their pup often isn't worth the struggle or the upset it causes. What I’ve found helpful is embracing the moment and understanding this is part of the unique charm of having such a cuddly companion. It’s a humorous reminder of how much these little dogs rely on us for comfort and affection, literally weighing on us in the cutest way possible. Also, from a care perspective, always keep an eye on their paws and joints, since French Bulldogs are prone to some health issues due to their build. Using soft blankets or cushions can help distribute their weight more gently when they choose their favorite spot on an owner’s lap or beside them on the sofa. Sharing this little pain while enjoying the unconditional love from my Frenchie has made me appreciate the small challenges that come with being a dog mom. It’s these relatable moments that create lasting bonds and make owning a Frenchie such a rewarding experience.
