5–10 PAPERS A DAY?!

Back to school means the daily paper avalanche has officially begun. 😂📚

5–10 papers a day… worksheets, drawings, coloring pages, random masterpieces—you name it. 😂

I keep the really special ones, but the rest have to mysteriously disappear when my youngest isn’t looking. 👀🗑️

Because apparently EVERY. SINGLE. PAPER. is “the most special one.” 😂

Tell me I’m not the only mom secretly throwing away school papers.

From worksheets and drawings to coloring pages and random projects, it can quickly turn your home into a paper mountain. One trick I’ve found helpful is setting up a dedicated 'inbox' area where all school papers go initially. This makes it easier to sort through them on a weekly basis instead of facing a daily pile. I also recommend involving your child in the process by letting them pick their favorite papers to keep. It not only teaches them organization skills but helps reduce the number you have to manage. For those less cherished papers, I’ve learned to quietly recycle them when my child isn’t looking — although it feels a bit sneaky, it keeps clutter manageable. Another tip is to create a digital archive of your child’s artwork and special papers by photographing them. This way, you can preserve memories without needing to keep every physical sheet. Apps designed for organizing kids’ creations can simplify this step. Remember, it’s okay not to keep every single paper because, as you said, every paper feels "the most special one." Balancing sentimental value with practical space limitations is key to maintaining sanity during the back-to-school season!
