Becoming her 💗🌷 it’s the season of growth, it’s the season to bloom. I’m excited to learn to love myself in this new stage of life.
Also thank you @Tori Christmas for sparking this series idea in me after making your post about if you lose yourself as a sahm/sahw it’s you own fault. I am damned and determined to not take my opportunity with being able to stay at home for granted and I’m going to find myself
Becoming her is truly about embracing a personal transformation, especially in the challenging and beautiful stages of motherhood. From my own experience, the postpartum period can feel like losing yourself amidst the overwhelming demands of caring for a newborn. However, this phase also offers an incredible opportunity for growth and self-discovery—if you’re open to it. A key part of this journey is recognizing that being a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) doesn’t mean losing your identity. Instead, it’s an invitation to redefine who you are. I’ve learned that setting aside time regularly for self-reflection, whether through journaling or quiet moments in nature, helps me reconnect with my passions and values. Another important aspect is community—engaging with other moms who share similar challenges and triumphs can be deeply affirming. Hashtags like #becomingher and #seasonofchange are great ways to connect online and feel supported. Most importantly, practicing self-compassion during this transition is vital. Growth isn’t linear; there will be setbacks and days of doubt, but these moments are normal and part of the process. Cherishing small victories and celebrating the person you are becoming can transform how you experience motherhood. This season of blooming is about patience, love, and determination. Embracing self-love while nurturing your family can create a fulfilling balance that brings lasting happiness.
