Things I do as a type B mom I guess😅 #typebmom #momlife #realisticmomlife
As a fellow mom navigating the unpredictable rhythms of toddler life, I completely relate to the experience of being a Type B mom. The day-to-day can often feel overwhelming with toys scattered everywhere, random craft projects left out, and food spots appearing in every nook and cranny. I’ve found that trying to maintain a spotless house all day is neither realistic nor healthy for me. Instead, I embrace the way productivity sneaks in at crunch time — those last 30 minutes before my partner comes home when I suddenly turn into a cleaning machine. This approach doesn't mean I’m neglectful; it's about managing energy and mental bandwidth throughout the day. I've noticed that if I push myself to clean constantly, I often burn out. But by accepting a bit of messiness during the day, I stay sane and can enjoy real moments with my kids. Then, when the time is right, I channel my focus into a quick clean-up blitz. This strategy has made my mom life more manageable and less stressful. I also think it's important to redefine what 'productive' means as a parent. Productivity isn't just tidying up; it's also about being present with kids, supporting their creativity, and embracing imperfections. The house may be messy, but if the kids are happy and safe, that’s what truly matters. Sharing experiences like these helps normalize the struggles and joys of motherhood, reminding us all that there’s no one perfect way to do it.
