My notebook part 2: Tarot Edition 🃏
The first post I made about my journal got wayyy more attention than I thought it would, so I thought I’d share a bit more every once in a while.
🃏 Tarot cards are one of my favorite tools to use when I’m seeking answers from within, trying to understand a situation or want to connect to my intuition on a deeper level. When I first started reading tarot, it was so helpful to add information to my journal to fall back on. If you’re a beginner & interested in using and reading tarot, this could be a good starting guide for you!
🪽 Questions you can ask your Spirit Guides-
Before you go to bed, ask your Spirit Guides to visit you in your dreams. Ask them one of the questions I wrote out (or one of your own). You will know it’s your spirit guide(s) because they will seem familiar to you, even if you’ve never met. You will have a deep love and connection to them. Most of the time, spirit guides won’t be loved ones that have passed on (those are your guardian angels). You can also ask for specific signs to show your guides are around.
I really hope you guys enjoy these little “chats” about Spirit-related topics. I’m passionate about spreading my knowledge and being a light to anyone that could use it. If there’s anything specific you’d like to see next let me know!

Hey everyone! Building on my last post, I wanted to dive deeper into how I actually set up my tarot journal. It's more than just pretty pages; it's a sacred space for growth and insight. If you're wondering how to get started or just want some new ideas, here’s how I organize mine to make it truly useful. First off, I dedicate a few pages to essential reference material. Like my notebook shows, having a quick guide to Major Arcana Keywords is a game-changer when you're learning. I jot down core meanings for each card – just a few words to trigger my memory. Similarly, a section for the Suits in Tarot (Cups, Pentacles, Swords, Wands) and their elemental associations (Water, Earth, Air, Fire) helps me instantly grasp the context of a reading. This saves so much time flipping through books! Beyond references, the bulk of my journal is for logging readings. I have a simple system: date, question asked, cards drawn (I often sketch them or just write the names), and then my interpretation. I always leave space for initial thoughts and then come back later to add reflections on how the reading played out or what new insights I gained. This helps track my progress and see patterns in my readings over time. It’s fascinating to look back and see how much I’ve grown! One of my favorite parts, as you saw, is the dedicated section for connecting with my Spirit Guides. I keep a running list of questions I want to ask, much like the '10 questions to ask your Spirit Guides' from my notebook. After asking a question before bed, I make sure to write down any dreams, feelings, or strong intuitions I had the next morning. It’s amazing how clear the messages can become when you actively record them. I even have a page where I list specific signs I've asked for and then tick them off when I see them! This really solidifies the connection for me. To make it truly 'mine,' I also include sections for moon phases, affirmations, or even pages dedicated to specific crystal energies and their properties. I use tabs or a simple index to easily navigate between sections like 'Major Arcana Keywords,' 'Suits in Tarot,' 'Monthly Spreads,' and 'Spirit Guide Messages.' Don't be afraid to make it your own – doodle, use different colored pens, or add stickers. The more personal it feels, the more you'll want to use it and the deeper your connection will become. A well-organized tarot journal isn't just a record; it's a powerful and practical tool for self-discovery, intuition development, and spirit connection. I hope these setup tips inspire you to create a journal that truly supports your spiritual journey. What are your must-have sections in your own tarot journal? Share your ideas!

Are there keywords for the other major arcana cards?
