my ✨everything✨ shower routine!
This is my in depth shower routine!
step 1: dry brush! i always dry brush before my shower when i know im going to shave. great exfoliation, and gets your blood circulating!
step 2: once i get in the shower, i like to start by shampooing and conditioning my hair. i use a scalp brush to help massage the shampoo on my scalp!
step 3: after i finish rinsing out my conditioner, i go in with my face wash. i know this is pretty controversial, but i don’t typically take very hot showers and i don’t put my face directly under the shower head so its not as harsh.
step 4: next, i will use my dial antibacterial soap with my african net sponge. i feel extra clean with this method!
step 5: after exfoliating with my net sponge, i will go in with my body scrub. depending on how sensitive your skin is, i don’t recommend both exfoliating with the sponge and the scrub! i would pick one or the other, but this is what works for me. then i shave my legs with the eos shave butter! i just started using the single blade double edge razor and so far it has left my legs soooo smooth. i definitely recommend! (disclaimer: super sharp, be extra careful with this type of razor!)
step 6: once im done shaving, i finish off my shower by washing with a good smelling body wash. i like the method body wash in coconut and rice milk because i think it has a sweet smelling scent that pairs well with all my vanilla scents.
step 7: when i get out and my skin is still damp, i use the palmer’s cocoa butter body oil! it has a sweet smell that also pairs well with my vanilla scents.
step 8: i will moisturize with my eos vanilla cashmere lotion (smells soooo yummy), then i put on a perfume oil. i own the being frenshe perfume oil! then i spritz some mix bar vanilla bourbon throughout my hair and over my body.
step 9: depending on what time of day i do my everything shower routine, i will use different skincare products! in the am, i go in with my witch hazel toner, then caffeine solution, niacinamide solution, vitamin c serum, hyaluronic acid, then finish off with some moisturizer and spf. in the pm, i go in with my glycolic acid toner, caffeine solution, niacinamide solution, retinol, and moisturizer (cerave moisturizing cream).
step 10: finally, i will go in with my victoria’s secret bare vanilla body mist all over, and layer that with my philosophy fresh cream warm cashmere perfume! i swear by that perfume, i get sooo many compliments on it! and of course, deodorant! i’m using the old spice coconut and eucalyptus here, but i typically use old spice vanilla oasis. i just grabbed the wrong one and didn’t notice 🥲
