Would you try it?

Look, I know I’m supposed to be getting *beach ready* but, I saw some guy (I don’t know his name) eat ice cream with these pretzels.. so, obviously, I had to try it. AND, now you should too. 😂

I’m thinking something more basic like vanilla may be better than this Ben & Jerry’s but, still not bad.

... Read moreI recently tried the ice cream and pretzel combo myself after seeing the idea online, and I have to say, it really surprised me how well the salty crunch of pretzels enhances the creamy sweetness of ice cream. While the original experiment used a rich Ben & Jerry’s flavor, I found that a classic vanilla ice cream works best because it balances the saltiness without overpowering it. This combo is easy to enjoy any time you want a snack that feels indulgent but not too heavy. The texture contrast between the cold, smooth ice cream and the crunchy pretzels creates a satisfying bite every time. When I made this at home, I also tried dipping pretzels into some chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, which was delicious but a bit too rich for me personally. If you’re prepping for beach days or summer outings, this treat is perfect to cool off and quickly satisfy a sweet tooth without the need for complicated ingredients. Plus, pretzels come in various shapes and flavors, so you can experiment with spicy or flavored pretzels for even more unique taste combinations. Overall, eating ice cream with pretzels is a fun way to reinvent your typical dessert or snack. I recommend starting simple with vanilla ice cream and classic salted pretzels, then customizing to your favorite ice cream flavors or pretzel varieties. Give it a try—you might find your new favorite sweet treat this summer!
