The best snack everšÆ
I came across this protein bite recipe (Brittany Mullins, Eating Bird Food) a few years back, and I havenāt stopped making them since. I would describe this snack as a healthier alternative to cookie dough!
⨠1.5 cups old fashioned rolled oats
⨠50-60 grams protein powder (I use vanilla)
⨠1/4 cup honey
⨠1 cup peanut butter
⨠1/4 cup chocolate chips
⨠1/8 cup chia seeds
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix together, preferably by hand. After everything is nicely combined, roll the dough into 1 inch balls and refrigerate in a covered container!
This snack contains plenty of protein, fiber, and deliciousness that anyone would look for in a sweet treat, and itās perfect for when youāre on the go.
