Healing isn’t Linear🫶
Healing is not linear folks and that’s okay.
Some days you’ll feel unstoppable, and others you’ll wonder if you’ve made any progress at all. Both are part of the process.
Growth takes softness, awareness, and a whole LOT of self-compassion.
So, Take a breath today and remind yourself: progress is showing up again, even when it’s hard. 🌱
Healing is often misunderstood as a straightforward path, but in reality, it curves, circles back, and sometimes pauses to give you space to breathe. This non-linear nature is a normal part of the healing process, allowing you to regenerate and process feelings in a healthy way. It's important to recognize that some days you may feel unstoppable, full of energy and confidence, while other days might leave you wondering if you’re making any progress at all. Both experiences are valid and count as progress. Healing doesn't mean the pain completely disappears; instead, it means that the pain no longer controls your decisions or defines your daily life. You're allowed and encouraged to outgrow past versions of yourself—those parts that once kept you safe but might no longer serve you now. This continual personal growth requires softness, self-awareness, and a significant amount of self-compassion. It’s okay to cry, to rest, to hold moments of silence, and to laugh—these are all natural and necessary components of healing. Remember, you are not behind anyone else. Healing happens at your own pace, in your own time. Progress comes from consistently showing up for yourself, even when it’s difficult. Take heart in knowing that each step forward, no matter how small or seemingly repetitive, is a meaningful move on your unique healing journey.
