One of the spots that really caught my eye, and where I spent some relaxing evenings, was the 'DUNNS RIVER' bar. While it's primarily a bar, the atmosphere was incredible, and they served up some delicious light bites and appetizers that were perfect for an evening snack. I overheard whispers about it being connected to a fantastic restaurant nearby, or maybe even hosting special dinner events – definitely something to ask about if you visit! It truly felt like a piece of authentic Jamaican hospitality, right by the water. But let's dive deeper into "river restaurants." While a formal sit-down restaurant right on the riverbank might be rare outside of specific tours, many establishments in Ocho Rios offer stunning river views or are located very close to popular river attractions. For instance, after a thrilling visit to Dunn's River Falls (a must-do!), you'll find several charming eateries and casual spots where you can grab a meal with the sounds of the river nearby.
