when your trying to finish your sets, but all he thinking about is food
I’ve often found myself struggling to stay focused during my workout sets because all I could think about was food. It can be really tough to push through those last reps when your stomach is growling or your mind keeps drifting to meals. What has helped me is planning my nutrition around my workouts. Eating a small, balanced snack an hour or so before exercising can make a big difference. Foods with good carbs and some protein, like a banana with peanut butter or Greek yogurt, give me sustained energy without feeling too full. Another approach I’ve tried is breaking down sets into smaller chunks with short breaks, which helps me mentally reset my focus. Sometimes just reminding myself of my fitness goals or listening to motivating music can help pull my attention back to the workout. Lastly, hydration plays a key role. Thirst often masks itself as hunger, so drinking enough water before and during exercise keeps distractions from creeping in. Over time, integrating these habits has helped me concentrate better during training, improve performance, and even manage post-workout hunger more effectively.
