✨ Chicken Seasoning

Kinder’s The Blend, garlic powder, onion powder, garlic salt, paprika, adobo, seasoned salt, and parsley.

🌿 Asparagus Seasoning

Kinder’s The Blend, garlic salt, seasoned salt, and fresh lemon juice.

Season your chicken and cook it in a skillet with olive oil and butter until golden and fully cooked. Set aside. While doing this go ahead and boil your potatoes until fork tender.

Season your asparagus with olive oil, the seasonings listed above, and lemon juice. Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes.

In the same pan you cooked the chicken, add butter, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook until soft. Pour in heavy cream, then add sun-dried tomatoes, tomato paste, and Boursin cheese. Let it simmer until slightly thickened.

Add spinach and cook until wilted, then stir in Parmesan cheese. Return the chicken to the sauce and let it simmer for about 5 minutes so all the flavors soak in.

Mash your potatoes with heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and your favorite seasonings until creamy.

Plate your mashed potatoes, top with the Marry Me Chicken, add your asparagus on the side, and enjoy! 💕🍽️✨

... Read moreMarry Me Chicken is not only a crowd-pleaser but also a fantastic dish to prepare when you want to impress someone special or just enjoy a comforting meal at home. From my personal experience, the key to getting the perfect flavor lies in the seasoning blend used on the chicken. Using a combination of garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, adobo, and seasoned salt provides a balanced depth that complements the creamy sauce beautifully. When making the sauce, I find that letting the heavy cream and cheeses simmer slowly helps develop the rich, velvety texture that makes Marry Me Chicken so famous. Incorporating sun-dried tomatoes brings a slight tang and sweetness, which contrasts nicely with the savory seasonings. Don’t rush the spinach addition — cooking it until just wilted preserves its vibrant color and freshness, making your plate more appealing. For the mashed potatoes, adding Parmesan cheese and heavy cream really elevates the dish, making it creamy and flavorful without being heavy. A tip I’ve learned is to mash the potatoes while they’re still hot for a smoother texture. Season to taste, and consider a little garlic powder if you love a subtle hint of garlic. Roasting asparagus with a splash of lemon juice and a sprinkle of garlic salt adds a bright, fresh note to the plate. The lemon juice not only enhances the flavor but also complements the richness of the chicken and potatoes, creating a well-rounded meal. This recipe is versatile and can be adjusted based on what you have at home. For example, swapping Boursin cheese for a cream cheese or goat cheese mix still yields a delicious sauce. The chicken breasts can be substituted with thighs if you prefer a juicier option. Overall, Marry Me Chicken is a delightful recipe that balances creamy, tangy, and savory elements, making it a perfect choice for dinner parties or family meals. It pairs well with a light white wine and fresh salad if you want to add more to the menu. Give it a try, and you might find yourself getting proposals instead of just compliments!
