Nico mood
Hey fellow PJO fans! You know, I was just thinking about Nico di Angelo – he’s such a fascinating character, right? When I stumbled upon the thought of his 'mood,' it really got me thinking about his journey. Those lines, 'I'm becoming this, all I want to do is be more like me, and be less like you,' really resonate with his constant struggle to define himself outside of what others expect or what his past dictates. He's always fighting against feeling 'smothered' or held 'too tightly' by his responsibilities and his powers. It makes you wonder, what does a demigod like Nico do when he's just being himself? I've always been curious about Nico's hobbies outside of fighting monsters or navigating the Underworld. What does he do to relax or just... be a teenager? I imagine he's not exactly into typical camp activities. Maybe he'd enjoy exploring ancient ruins, not for a quest, but for historical fascination, or perhaps collecting rare, forgotten myths. I can totally see him getting lost in a good, perhaps slightly dark, fantasy novel, or even sketching the various creatures he encounters, giving them his own unique, gothic twist. And of course, Mythomagic! That’s one hobby we know he genuinely loved. It makes sense, as it’s a world he can control and master, unlike so much of his actual life. I think his hobbies would reflect his quiet, introspective nature and his connection to darker, more arcane interests. And speaking of fan interests, it’s truly wild how creative the PJO fandom is! I've seen some intriguing discussions and fanfiction out there, even touching on scenarios like 'pregnant Nico di Angelo.' While definitely not canon, it's a testament to how deeply fans care about these characters that they explore every possible 'what if' scenario. These alternate universe (AU) stories often delve into themes of family, vulnerability, and finding peace or a different kind of future for characters who've been through so much. It's a way for writers and readers to imagine new challenges or joys for Nico, perhaps in a world where the stakes are different, or where he gets to experience life in ways the canon hasn't explored. It shows how much we want to see these characters happy and fulfilled, even if it’s in a fantastical, non-canon way. Ultimately, whether we're speculating about his quiet hobbies or exploring wild AU concepts, it all comes back to Nico's journey of becoming truly 'more like me' and finding his own place in the world. He's a character who continually evolves, and it's exciting to imagine all the possibilities for him!
