How I’m getting back to healthy
Hi I’m Heather, I’m a first time mom and artist. With become a mom my body changed in order to supply my daughter with the best environment for growing!
I delivered our healthy baby girl in February and I’m now ready to get back to fitness so that I can play with my daughter for a long long time!
At my heaviest while pregnant I was 250 pounds and I’m now weighing in closer to 236 pounds. Before this week I’ve been getting more active but paying very little mind as to what I was putting in my body. I will now be keeping better track as to what I’m putting into my body!
1.) Apple Watch/Fitness/Health: I love my Apple Watch and I really like the different work out you can pick from! Getting to fill my circles every day gives me an extra bit of encouragement throughout the day! The Health app helps me keep all of info the same through all of my fitness apps.
2.) MyFitnessPal: I have a love hate relationship with this app. I used it in the past and it was fine. I miss being able to scan barcodes to log food info, but it works.
3.) Waterllama: Super fun app that allows you to track your water intake! If you choose to pay for the app you can track your hydration when your drinking drinks that are not water! Which is a really unique feature!
4.) Train: This is one of the newest apps that I started using. After five workout it starts to learn your motion while you are doing different exercises to help you better track reps and calories from them. It also shows you which muscle groups you used and when they need rest! Very cool app and I can’t wait to keep using it!
Do you use any of these apps or do you have a substitute for MyFitnessPal let a girl know!!
Have a sunshiny day! ☀️
