Pikmin Bloom the Game of the Summer
I’ve always been a huge Pikmin fan. So when I found out that Pokémon go and Pikmin had a love child, I was thrilled! My favorite part is it’s based off of steps and not walking outside. (Although you can, you don’t have to!)
The main mechanics of the game is to hatch Pikmin out of seed pods that your Pikmin find as your walking. Depending on what kind of Pikmin it could take 100, 1,000, 3,000, 5,000, or 10,000 steps to unlock! The 10,000 step ones always come with a fun accessory.
There are weekly walking competitions that you can do with other players to earn rewards and monthly events! The ice cream ones that are in this post are from the August event! They have fun events that help to keep you active and give you the cutest Pikmin in return.
Just like Pokémon Go, Pikmin Bloom does have a gym and pokestop element. The Gyms are mushroom battles you and four other plays can come together with your strongest Pikmin to destroy mushrooms. These mushrooms can be related to monthly events but you always get prizes from them. There are also flowers that you can make bloom if you walk around the area enough.
