Day 30 of Soft 75
Boy am I feeling a bit sore today! I did a huge weight lifting workout. Lifting a total of 3.2k pounds! I also did 60 squats which is the most I’ve done so far! Definitely going to be taking a few days off to let my muscles rebuild themselves.
I am quitting my book. This book is very nonfiction and is written like a textbook. I’m genuinely not having a good time reading it so after 119 pages I’m calling it quits. Instead I will be reading Everyday by David Levithan. This is also a book that I already owned and read when I was in high school.
I forgot to photograph my food as well. I had green grapes and I’m counting the veggies in my crunch wrap supreme. I was going to eat veggies late in the evening so I could say that I had some more, but I realized I wasn’t hungry. So eating them felt counterproductive.
Have a great day! ✨

As I progress through the 75-day fitness challenge, I've faced both physical and mental barriers. The workouts, particularly weight lifting, are essential for muscle growth and overall strength. Did you know that weight lifting can improve metabolic rate and help maintain a healthy weight? This challenge has not only tested my physical limits but also my reading habits. Transitioning from more academic texts to enjoyable reads like 'Everyday' by David Levithan has been refreshing. Engaging with literature can enhance mental well-being alongside physical fitness. Nutrition plays a crucial role in this process too. Keeping track of my meals, such as incorporating fresh fruits and veggies, keeps me aligned with my health goals. Remember, hydration is key! Optimal hydration supports muscle recovery and overall fitness performance. As I prepare to relax and let my body recuperate, I'm also reflecting on my overall well-being—it's about balance. Each small step contributes to a larger goal, making this journey both challenging and rewarding. Don't forget, the 75-day period isn't just about hard work; it's about developing sustainable habits that last a lifetime!
