Fall Eats ✨ Baked Potato
My fiancé loved baked potato’s so it was one of the first things that I figured out to make for us. By figured, I mean I looked it up. Hi my name is Heather and I have very little cooking knowledge, and this is my journey to learn how to make more things! As I said early fiancé, so I’m trying to learn how to cook more before we get married! So far I have also made homemade biscuits that I also have a post about.
Baked Potato’s are super early to make. All you need is some tin foil and your oven. I preheated my oven to 425. I put my potato’s in for 25 minutes before pulling them out to add olive oil and a pinch of salt to both. They went back into the oven for another 20 minutes.
This would have been a great recipe to make when you have left over chili this fall! Especially if you choose to top them how we did. If not (we didn’t have any but I plan on making some soon) a can of chili is a fave favorite at our household. Once you add your chili to the top, you can also add shredded cheese and sour cream as well!!

Baked potatoes are a versatile fall dish that can be enjoyed in various ways. They serve as an excellent base for toppings, making them perfect for cozy autumn dinners. For a fulfilling meal, consider combining your baked potatoes with leftover chili, which makes it even heartier. Simply bake your potatoes until tender—generally, a cooking time of around 45 minutes at 425°F works well. Once baked, explore a variety of delectable toppings such as sour cream, shredded cheese, or even green onions to elevate your dish. Incorporating seasonal flavors, like roasted garlic or herbs, can also enhance the baked potatoes' taste. Plus, they're a great way to bring family and friends together, allowing you to serve a build-your-own baked potato bar for gatherings. This not only creates a fun dining experience but also caters to various taste preferences. As the fall weather settles in, these comforting and easy-to-make baked potatoes can become a staple in your meal rotation. Don't forget to share your favorite toppings and creative recipes to inspire others in their cooking journey! What are some of your go-to fall recipes?
