Shop With Mommy ✨ Fall Edition
While going through my daughter’s clothes to take to the consignment store. I realized that she barely has any fall themed outfits. She has a pumpkin outfit that doesn’t scream Halloween so I feel like she can still wear that into the fall season.
So I knew when we were at the consignment store. We were on a mission. Seasonal/holiday themed outfits but not dressy ones. I’ve also been on the look out for Halloween books. I’m trying to get her a book at each season, each year. So she will slowly build up a nice collection.
As fall approaches, it's important to update your child’s wardrobe with warm, comfortable outfits suitable for the season. When visiting consignment stores, look for versatile pieces that can easily transition between seasons. Invest in layering options such as cardigans and light jackets, which can be paired with base layers. Seasonal colors like burnt orange, mustard yellow, and rich browns work well for fall attire, allowing for creativity while mixing and matching. Additionally, consider incorporating fun patterns such as leaves or pumpkins that celebrate the season without being overly festive. Enhancing your child’s reading collection is just as vital as updating their wardrobe. Seasonal-themed children's books can entice young readers and spark their imagination. Books like ‘Pete the Cat: Five Little Pumpkins’ and ‘Leaf Man’ are ideal for introducing autumn tales. Aim to add a new book each season, creating a cherished library that grows with them. This not only fosters a love for reading but also builds lasting memories around holiday traditions. Together, seasonal outfits and books create a comprehensive fall experience for your little ones.

Love that! Target and Sam’s club have nice children’s Halloween books, especially if your kid is into bluey. My girl looooves her bluey Halloween books.
