Ironically my French Professor in college was the one to reawaken the need to vote within me. For a while I felt really discouraged that my vote didn’t really count. That whole electoral college is a huge process that really makes the individual voter feel small.
Today I went and voted! I took my daughter with me, just like my dad had done with me when I was a kid. Although she has another 17 years to vote, I hope that she will take the opportunity to have her voice heard.
