Shopping Consignment 🛍️

Becoming a mom in 2024 truly made me realize how expensive children clothes are. I love dressing our sweet girl in the cutest clothes. One of my main NoBuy goals is to shop more second hand and clearance. Let’s keep our kids in the latest fashions but at the best price!

Our local consignment shop is a Kids to Kids. We always make out so well when we shop there! When we went they were running a huge clearance sale that I had been waiting on. Our daughter has really taken off crawling and standing. I knew this would be an opportunity to stock up on so pants for little miss without breaking the bank!

While shopping the sale we noticed they had a ton of Easter items. Cute clothes and best of all books! I love finding books at the consignment because they are normally a set price around $2.99. If you saw my post about the valentine’s Day books I found at Target. $2.99 is a steal for kids books especially a touch and feel book! There always a way to make it happen. I always encourage you to shop around!

You got that right that was 14 items for $1 each! There was still an amazing selection of items to choose from! We have 3 outfits, 1 amazing sweater, 4 adorable shirts, and 3 pairs of pants! Technically 6 pairs of pants in total!

... Read moreShopping consignment is a fantastic way to save money while ensuring that your child's wardrobe is stylish and functional. With the rising costs of children's clothing, many parents are turning to second-hand options to make their budgets stretch further. One of the best strategies is to frequent local consignment shops, such as Kids to Kids, which often have clearance sales that make it even easier to find valuable items at a fraction of the retail price. Moreover, many consignment stores have dedicated sections for seasonal items, including Easter merchandise and children's books, which often are priced around $2.99 each. Such deals are perfect for parents looking to fill their kids' bookshelves without overspending. In addition to clothing, these stores can have educational toys and games that are also budget-friendly. By shopping smart, parents can obtain quality, gently-used clothing that not only saves money but also supports sustainable fashion practices. This mindset encourages others to recycle clothing, therefore contributing to a healthier planet. Remember, a keen eye and a willingness to search can lead to fantastic finds! Don't hesitate to explore nearby consignment shops, and remember to check back often for the best selections.
