What I Knitted in January
On of my many no buy goals for 2025 is to not buy any yarn. I was very lucky over the past few Christmas’s and was gifted a ton of yarn in addition to inheriting yarn from my Grandmother! In the month of January I bought no yarn! Goal accomplished! I also managed to knit a good bit!
The first skein I kitted was a Caron Blossom Cakes in Tropical Bloom. I didn’t realize until right now that these cakes are 3 balls of yarn combined! Wow! I knitted 21 squares out of it! My goal is to combine the squares in the same way crocheter’s join granny squares. I also managed to find the missing cake because I knew I had two (which I need to complete the cardigan) thankfully I found it!
Before I found it I did start knitting some squares from a new skein. From that one I knitted 5 squares.
In the middle of all of that I knitted two hats! One for my fiancé and one for myself! Which was another skein and some scrap yarn.

I am also not buying yarn! unless it's second hand but I only plan to do it until June because herrschners warehouse sale. how long do you plan to do it for?
