Poppi @Aldi’s

I personally have never tried Poppi. In August I decided to give up soda. Which I have mostly succeeded in doing. I believe since then I have had a max of five sodas. Most of them were ginger ale when I wasn’t feeling good. I still drink Red Bull, Lemonade, and juices from time to time. Although I do enjoy my water I do miss the fun bubbles and flavors at times.

Poppi’s website claims for it to be revival of soda by offering a fresh new healthier option. Poppi 5g of sugar or less, max of 25 calories, and probiotics.

At Aldi’s it was priced at $1.59 which felt a lot better than the $2.49 it’s listed at Target! That’s almost a whole dollar in savings! I got the Strawberry Lemon flavor to try out!

Have you tried Poppi before?

If you have what’s your favorite flavor?

... Read moreAfter my first dive into the world of Poppi with the Strawberry Lemon at Aldi, I've been doing a bit more digging and trying to incorporate these healthier sips into my routine. It’s genuinely tough to give up the satisfying fizz of traditional soda, but discovering options like Poppi makes the transition much smoother! One flavor that kept popping up in my research and even in the store display (as captured in my photos!) is the Poppi Cherry Limeade prebiotic soda. While I initially grabbed the Strawberry Lemon, the Cherry Limeade seems to be a huge hit among fans. I've heard it's got that perfect balance of tart cherry and a refreshing lime kick, making it a truly vibrant alternative. It’s definitely on my list for my next Aldi run, especially since I'm always on the lookout for a good deal. Knowing that Aldi carries a variety of Poppi flavors, including popular ones like Cherry Limeade, is such a game-changer for budgeting! Speaking of Aldi, it’s not just about Poppi there. I've been exploring other options too. Many of you might be familiar with Aldi's own brand sodas, like their Summit Popz prebiotic soda, which often gets compared to Poppi as an even more budget-friendly alternative. While I haven't personally tried Summit Popz yet, I'm intrigued by the idea of an 'Aldi version of Poppi' that offers similar benefits. The core appeal of these prebiotic colas and other drinks like Poppi is their focus on gut health, often boasting low sugar content and natural flavors. It's fantastic to see more accessible options emerge for those of us trying to cut down on artificial ingredients and excessive sugar. What really sets Poppi apart, beyond its delicious taste, are those prebiotics. As someone who's trying to improve my overall wellness, understanding the benefits of a healthy gut has been key. Prebiotics are essentially food for the good bacteria in your gut, helping them thrive. This can lead to better digestion, improved immunity, and even better mood. So, when Poppi claims to be a 'revival of soda' by offering a healthier option with just 4g or 5g of sugar and maximum 25 calories, it really hits home for me. It’s not just about satisfying a craving; it’s about making a choice that also benefits my body. The vibrant Poppi soda can design and the way they're displayed in neat cardboard trays at Aldi, showcasing all the different flavors, definitely adds to the appeal – it feels fresh and inviting. If you're like me and looking for healthier soda alternatives, don't be afraid to experiment! Beyond Poppi, there are other brands like Olipop, Zevia, or even just sparkling water with a splash of fruit juice. The key is finding what works for your taste buds and your budget. For me, finding Poppi at Aldi has been a fantastic discovery, proving that you don't have to break the bank to enjoy a bubbly, flavorful, and gut-friendly drink. It’s all about making small, sustainable swaps that add up to a healthier lifestyle. What other aldi pop finds or healthy drink alternatives have you discovered that you love?
