Today’s Walk Recap
Today it was 86 degrees when we went on our walk today. So hot, but such a nice walk! Grandpa even joined us this time! It was nice to share a walk and talk with him. We were lucky to spot a ton of chipmunks, squirrels, and even some growing raspberries!
Did you get outside today? If so what did you do?
Walking in warm weather offers fantastic benefits, both physically and mentally. Not only does it enhance cardiovascular fitness, as indicated by an average heart rate of 125 BPM during our 1.15-mile walk, but it also provides an opportunity to connect with loved ones. Communicating and sharing stories while walking can strengthen family bonds, just like our experience with Grandpa. Additionally, being outdoors allows you to appreciate nature; observing chipmunks and raspberries is a reminder of the delightful discoveries waiting outside your door. As summer progresses, making time for daily walks can help improve your mood, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being. Have you embraced outdoor activities recently? Engaging with nature can uplift your spirits and create memorable moments.

You go girl 👏 I need to get back on my walk, but it’s been so hot and humid 😭
