I don’t know about you, but when my hair isn’t quite right color wise. I feel like my whole look is off. I love having fun colored hair but I do hate the fading. Sometimes it’s fun to see the colors that it fades along the way, but once it reaches a certain point… it’s just not the vibe (it’s giving dead mermaid).
I’m trying to be more mindful about the items I purchase before I run out of what I already own. So I went deep into my bathroom closet and dug out the purple dye I had left. This dye was already mixed into a conditioner. So I applied what I had left and hoped for the best. I did this while my daughter was taking her nap so I was only able to leave it in for a little over an hour.
Honestly I would have loved if my hair had turned out more purple than blue, but I’m happy to not be as faded as I was. Now that the old dye is all gone I’m free to buy some more for next time! Hopefully it will actually turn out purple!
