Sick dog? Here are 3 tips to recover fast
If you’re like me and get stomach aches often, you know it’s NOT fun. But it’s not my fault I’m a scavenger and eat things off the street 🤪
I go to the vet often, so here are 3 tips to strengthen my tummy:
1. Get a probiotic. If you can get a prescription, even better. If not, an over the counter will do.
2. Drink lots of water! Hydration is key!
3. Eat a bland diet such as chicken and rice. Pumpkin is also supposed to be good!

When your dog falls sick, it can be stressful for both of you. It’s important to not only provide the right care but also understand the signs of illness. Common symptoms include lethargy, loss of appetite, and vomiting. Consulting a veterinarian is crucial for a proper diagnosis, especially if symptoms persist. Ensuring your dog stays hydrated is key; encourage water intake and consider offering electrolyte solutions specially designed for pets. If your dog shows signs of an upset stomach, probiotics can aid in restoring gut health and balance. Bland diets, including boiled chicken and rice or pumpkin, can help soothe an irritated digestive system. Additionally, keeping your dog calm and comfortable will support their recovery—create a cozy resting space and monitor their progress. Regular vet check-ups are invaluable, as they help catch potential issues early. Stay informed about potential dietary restrictions based on your dog's health condition—some may react negatively to certain foods. With love, proper care, and these tips, your furry friend will have a better chance of a speedy recovery.

Awww what a cutie. Hope he’s feeling better!
