Just like humans, dogs require a comfortable sleeping environment to thrive. Make sure they're cozy by providing a soft bed or a warm blanket. It's important to respect their space while they sleep; avoid moving them unless absolutely necessary, as this could disturb their sleep cycle. Moreover, understanding that dogs dream can help you better interpret their asleep behaviors like twitching or vocalizing. These actions are normal and indicate a restful sleep phase, which is essential for processing their daily experiences. Keeping a regular routine for feeding and walks can also contribute to better sleep patterns. Ultimately, a well-rested dog is a happier and healthier companion.
