MacBook Neo First Impression<3
I got the pink MacBook Neo 😍 it’s so shimmery and pretty in person. Pictures definitely don’t do them justice. I had to go 1 million miles away to find one in stock. Here are some things I noticed immediately:
1. The keyboard is not backlit, but it honestly doesn’t bother me because I type a lot and I barely look at the keyboard anyways. If it is dark, the light from the screen will save you.
2. The trackpad is different. It looks the same, but the clicking is a little louder because I think the other MacBooks come with sensitivity in the trackpad, meaning it responds to how hard you click on things, and this one does not. I have a MacBook Pro also, and I genuinely didn’t even realize that was a thing, so this change doesn’t matter at all to me. I also think the clicking noise is kinda cute :3
3. It is lighter and smaller than my MacBook Pro, which is one of the reasons I bought it. It fits better in a lot of my purses than my 14 inch does and it will be a lot easier to carry around. I’m not doing crazy projects every time I use my laptop, so this will make things soo much easier for me when I’m traveling and just doing research, writing a paper, or browsing.
4. I’ve seen videos talking about how small the speakers are. They may be small, but they are still very loud. They might be a little lower than my MacBook Pro, but I honestly can’t tell the difference and I would not need them any louder.
Overall, It’s really not super different from the other MacBook models. I think if you want it, you should get it. ESPECIALLY, if you are like me and use one of the more expensive MacBooks and don’t want to carry a down payment on a car in your purse every time you go out for coffee or something. :)
