Finding Tamtey’s Ikran

First things first, make sure you're in the right quest phase. This usually comes up after some key story moments, perhaps after you've completed parts of the 'Etuwa's Fire' questline, possibly 'Part 3', or after you've been asked to 'Check in with Etuwa at Highmost Seat'. Once you have the objective to find Tamtey's Ikran, your first waypoint should generally lead you towards the Upper Plains, specifically in the vicinity of So'lek's Camp. Don't just fly to the camp and expect her to be there though; the search requires a bit more precision. From So'lek's Camp, you'll want to head west. Look for a series of floating mountains or rocky outcrops. Amay isn't chilling right in the middle of a clearing; she's usually perched on a higher, more secluded 'Mountain Ikran' nesting area. I found her specifically on a large, distinct floating island that's a bit lower than some of the highest peaks but still offers a good vantage point. It’s southwest of So'lek's Camp, across a noticeable ravine or chasm. As you approach this area, use your Na'vi senses! Even from a distance, you might hear her calls or see visual cues. The OCR mentioned "So'lek's Comp" multiple times, confirming the camp as your primary reference point. The key is to look for a small, relatively flat plateau on one of these floating landmasses. She's not exactly hidden, but the sheer scale of Pandora can make finding specific spots tricky. Once you land near her, you'll see her in a distressed state. Now for the "Reassure" part, which the OCR also highlighted. This is crucial! Simply approaching her won't work immediately. You'll need to interact with her, usually by walking up and following the on-screen prompts. It's often a gentle interaction, a bit like calming a skittish animal. You might need to gently touch her or talk to her. Once you successfully reassure her, a short cinematic or dialogue sequence will play, and Tamtey's Ikran, Amay, will be ready to return to Tamtey. It’s a rewarding moment, finally reuniting them! So, to recap: Head to the Upper Plains, use So'lek's Camp as your starting point, then venture slightly west-southwest towards the floating mountain formations.
