My first read of 2025 ✨📚

How We Heal - Alexandra Elle

I have followed Alex Elle on instagram for quite a bit of years and would always love her post. I was so excited to see she had come out with a book. Last year around this time my friend purchased this book for me when I was having a trying time in my personal life. I tried reading it then but maybe I wasn’t ready to heal just yet.

I reached what I feel like for me is rock bottom in my 31 years of life in the past year. And have taken accountability by getting help for my mental health. I started therapy, got on medication to balance out my moods and have committed myself to reading at the very least one book a month that could benefit me in the long run. What better time to delve into this book and so far I LOVE it.

Here are a few takes from the first 40 pages.

I definitely recommend if you feel like you are in need of some self reflecting and healing. 👍Pros: It also teaches you how to journal.

Happy New Year 🤍
