This is our life!
Hahaha, this is the tattoo artist life 😂 🫶🏾
You asked what a typical day looks like for a tattoo shop owner like me, especially with pets and a coffee service, and let me tell you, no two days are exactly alike, but there's definitely a rhythm! My mornings usually start early, often before the sun is fully up. The first order of business is always my furry alarm clocks – my dogs. A quick walk and some breakfast for them, and then it's my turn for that essential first cup of coffee. I actually love brewing a fresh pot right at home, setting the tone for the day. Then it’s off to the ATTOO STUDIO. As I open up, the studio transforms from a quiet space into a hub of creativity. The first thing I do is get our shop's coffee station ready. We pride ourselves on offering great coffee to our clients, so a fresh brew is always on. It's amazing how a good cup of coffee can really make people feel comfortable and welcome, especially those getting their first TATTAT. While the coffee is brewing, I'll go through my bookings, check emails, and prepare my station for the day's appointments. Sometimes, my pets even join me at the studio for a few hours. My little dog loves to greet clients (from a safe distance, of course!) and adds such a warm, homey vibe to the place. It's a unique aspect of our BATCAVEINKTATTOO experience. Throughout the day, it's a mix of client consultations, drawing custom designs, and, of course, the actual tattooing. There's a real art to laying down INK, and each piece is a new challenge and a new story. Between clients, I'll often sneak in another coffee break, or take my dog out for a quick stretch. It’s a great way to clear my head and recharge, especially during longer sessions. Running a STUDIO isn't just about tattooing; there’s also the business side – ordering supplies, managing appointments, keeping the shop sparkling clean. It's a constant juggle, but seeing the happy faces of clients with their new art makes it all worth it. The pets are a constant source of joy and de-stressors, and the coffee keeps everyone, including me, energized. By the time the last client leaves and the studio is cleaned up, I’m usually ready to head home with my furry companions. It’s a demanding but incredibly rewarding life, filled with passion for art, the love of animals, and of course, plenty of good coffee.
