นอกจากคำแนะนำที่ช่วยให้เลือกวิชาเสรีอย่างเหมาะสมแล้ว ผมขอแชร์ประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวที่ผมเคยเจอระหว่างเรียนวิชาเสรีหน่อยนะครับ ตอนที่ผมเลือกวิชาเสรี ผมเลือกเรียนทำขนมหวานเพราะผมชอบทำอาหารและอยากมีทักษะเพิ่มไว้ใช้ในชีวิตจริง ซึ่งผลลัพธ์ที่ได้เกินคาดครับ ผมได้ทั้งความรู้ใหม่ ๆ ได้ฝึกทักษะที่ไม่เคยลอง เช่น การใช้วัตถุดิบ เทคนิคการอบขนม รวมถึงยังได้พบเพื่อนใหม่ที่มีความสนใจเหมือนกันด้วยครับ ทำให้รู้สึกว่าเรียนแล้วไม่เครียด และมีความสุขกับการเรียนมากขึ้น ถ้าใครกำลังลังเลว่าควรเลือกวิชาเสรีแบบไหน ลองถามตัวเองดูนะครับว่า 1. สิ่งที่เราอยากลองทำหรือสนใจคืออะไร เน้นสิ่งที่อยากทำจริง ๆ จะช่วยให้ตั้งใจเรียนได้มากกว่า 2. วิชาที่เลือกมีประโยชน์ต่ออนาคตหรือทักษะที่อยากเสริมไหม การเลือกวิชาที่ช่วยเพิ่มความรู้ด้านภาษาหรือคอมพิวเตอร์ก็เป็นตัวเลือกที่ดี 3. วิชานี้ทำให้เรารู้สึกผ่อนคลายหรือมีความสุขไหม เพราะถ้าเรียนในสาขาหลักเครียด การได้รับวิชาเสรีที่ช่วยคลายเครียดจะบาลานซ์ชีวิตเราได้ดี 4. ลองมองภาพอนาคตว่าหากเรียนวิชานี้จบแล้วจะสามารถนำความรู้นั้นไปใช้ในอาชีพหรืองานอดิเรกของเราได้หรือไม่ ส่วนตัวอยากแนะนำว่าไม่ต้องรีบเลือกวิชาเสรีตามเพื่อน หรือเพียงเพราะดูเหมือนง่ายเท่านั้น ควรเลือกวิชาที่ทำให้เราอยากเรียนจริง ๆ และสนุกไปกับการเรียน ในภาพที่เห็นเชฟเอียนมายั่วน้ำลายด้วยอาหาร ทำให้รุ้สึกว่าเลือกวิชาเสรีที่ตรงกับใจทำให้ชีวิตเรียนสนุกขึ้นมาก ๆ และได้มากกว่าคะแนนเกรด นั่นคือทักษะที่ใช้ได้จริงและมิตรภาพใหม่ ๆ ครับ หวังว่าข้อมูลนี้จะช่วยให้ทุกคนกล้าเลือกวิชาเสรีด้วยตัวเองและสนุกกับสิ่งที่เรียนมากขึ้นครับ เอนจอยกับชีวิตนักศึกษานะครับ!
