1.Standard angle: Stand the waterfall side. Let the watercourse be the foreground. Bring sight to the top of the mountain - 14-24mm lens. Get a wide view, eat the whole scene.

2. Waterfront / Bend Stream: Push the mountain to the rule of prominence on the right, bend the water into the frame (like your image)

3.Long Exposure: Use ND 6-10 stop, set the speed 0.5-2 seconds, let the waterfall be soft, tender 🧊

4.Northern Light Night: f / 1.8-2.8, 5-10s, ISO 1600-3200 + Tight Stand (Strong Wind!) 🌌

Trick: Lots of cloud blue. Use Polarizer to reduce water reflection and pull moss green to bounce up.

Access & Travel Time 🚗

• Drive the main line of the peninsula to a small landing next to the waterfall. 5-10 minutes on foot.

• For a chill time of 45-90 minutes, if you wait for a beautiful light for 2-3 hours.

• Winter always checks wind / ice road conditions first (Iceland is much stronger than thought) 🌬️

• "Climbing the top of Kirkjufell" is a steep, dangerous, accident every year - only with a skilled guide, not recommended. ⛑️
