Skin Barrier is broken. What to do?
Skin Barrier is broken. Skin is susceptible to irritation. What to do?
What we do after starting to feel easily irritated, dry, red and rash skin is
1. Stop using unnecessary skin care or products suspected to may stimulate the skin temporarily.
2. Opt for products identified as suitable for Sensitive Skin or Sensitive Sensitive Skin.
3. Give the skin time to recover and try not to stress, because restoring the skin shield takes time.
Below are some of the products we used during skin weakness, which may be just a guide for people who are facing similar problems, not a suggestion that everyone must use them because their skin type and cause are different.
* Smooth E Extra Sensitive Cleansing Water - Used to wipe skin cleanser from dust, smoke and dirt during the day. Feel gentle with the skin during hypersensitivity.
* Smooth E Babyface Gel - Little Bubble Face Wash Gel, Wash and Don't Feel Skin Tension, Fits Dry and Sensitive Skin Range
* Burnova Gel - Aloe Vera Gel That Boosts Hydrating and Feels Skin Comfortable
* Bepanthen - We apply a thin layer of dry, itchy or irritating areas that for us feel helps to make the skin more comfortable.
* Ezerra Cream - Used as a moisturizer during very dry skin. To help moisturize and reduce dry tension.
* Smooth E Sun - The sunscreen we choose to use during that time because it feels light and suitable for sensitive skin (the suitability depends on the individual)
These are all just personal experiences and shared as a guide. Each person's results may not be the same because the skin type, cause of irritation and response to the product are different.
If there are severe symptoms, such as a rash, a lot of burning, a lot of itching, or the condition does not improve even after discontinuing products, it is recommended to consult a dermatologist to determine the cause and receive appropriate treatment.
I hope this post will be helpful to those who are facing similar problems. 🤍
