... Read moreHey beauties! I'm so excited to share more of my insights on achieving that dreamy 'latti nude' lip, especially for my medium and tan skin toned friends out there. While my first combo featuring the Fenty Beauty luscious lip balm in 'latti lips' is a new go-to for that perfect nudish pink, there's so much more to creating your ideal 'latti' look.
Finding your perfect 'latti nude' is all about understanding your undertones. For those of us with warmer, medium, or tan complexions, a 'latti nude' often means embracing shades with a hint of peach, caramel, or subtle rosy brown to prevent looking washed out. I've found that products like the Morphe lip liner in 'sweet tea' are fantastic for grounding a lighter gloss, giving that warm, coffee-toned base that truly defines the 'latti' aesthetic. It was my staple for so long, and for good reason!
When I'm going for a more intense or deeper 'latti' vibe, I often reach for the NYX lip pencil in 'brown'. Paired with a hydrating gloss like the NYX Fat Oil in 'status update', it creates a rich, creamy brown nude that's still very much in the 'latti' family. This combo is super affordable and can easily be dressed up for a night out, giving you that sophisticated, understated glam.
And let's talk about the magic of layering! Sometimes, your perfect 'latti nude' isn't just one product. For instance, my purse lippie often involves the L.A. Girl Shockwave lip liner in 'gingerbread' as a base, topped with any clear gloss. If I'm feeling a splurge, the Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment adds that incredible sheen and nourishment, making any underlying nude liner look absolutely divine. This method allows you to customize the depth and warmth of your 'latti' shade.
Don't overlook the power of lip oils for a soft 'latti' finish! The Rare Beauty tinted lip oil in 'honesty' is a personal favorite – it's hydrating, gives a beautiful cooling sensation, and the 'honesty' shade is just impeccable for tan skin, offering a sheer, healthy-looking 'latti' tint. Even the Elf lip oil in 'red delicious', which might sound intimidating, can be blotted down or layered over a nude liner to add just a touch of warmth without being overtly red, creating a unique 'latti' hue. And for quick touch-ups or a softer look, the Tower 28 lip jelly in 'cashew' is another excellent option for that effortless, everyday 'latti' glow, even if the texture isn't my absolute favorite, the color is spot on.
Ultimately, the key to rocking a 'latti nude' is confidence and experimentation. Don't be afraid to mix your liners, balms, and glosses to find that unique shade that perfectly complements your skin and makes you feel amazing! Hope these tips help you achieve your perfect 'latti' pout!
