hi I just wanted to share my new birthday nails 🥰🥰 i have been doing DIY press on nails from Shein ❤️ I ordered the stickers,, they're very low cost usually under $2,, and then I can choose the nail shape,, paint colors,, where the stickers go,, glitter, etc and really be creative and get to enjoy doing my nails 💅 🥰🥰
for this set i did black matte polish and added the stickers and the glitter ✨ (these exact stickers are sold out but theres of different ones) i like textured stickers , they give a chunky look ,, so i normally search for 5D stickers. not sure why they arent 3D 🤣
its been a while since ive had nails on so im still getting used to typing with them and everything 😂
🫶 i also used to have a really bad skin picking disorder,, this is the best my nails have looked in so long and I'm so proud of myself 🥰🥰
... Read moreAfter seeing so many amazing DIY press-on nail sets, I just had to share more of my own journey and tips! It’s truly revolutionized my nail game, especially when I’m looking for 'press on inspo' that won't break the bank.
One of the biggest game-changers for me has been exploring the vast world of Shein nail stickers. While those chunky 5D stickers are a personal favorite for adding texture and dimension – seriously, why aren't they 3D? – there’s so much more out there. I’ve stumbled upon everything from delicate colorful flower patterns to super cute cartoon anime and cartoon face designs. The variety means you can literally create a new look for every mood or occasion without spending a fortune. I love browsing the 'Nail stickers Shein' section for new arrivals and trends.
For anyone wanting to dive into DIY press ons, here are a few more tips I’ve picked up:
Beyond Basic Polish: Don't just stick to solid colors! Try a gradient base, or even a subtle glitter polish underneath your stickers for an extra pop. I recently experimented with a 'jelly colorful' topcoat over some basic stickers, and it gave them a whole new vibe. Matte topcoats can also transform any design into something super chic.
Layering for Depth: Who says you can only use one type of sticker? I often layer smaller, more intricate stickers over larger, simpler ones to create a more custom, salon-like finish. Just make sure your base layer is completely dry!
Mix & Match Sets: Don't be afraid to buy a few different sticker packs and mix designs from various sets. This is where the real creativity comes in. You can designate an accent nail with a bolder sticker, or combine different textures for a truly unique look.
Shape Shifting: While I pick my nail shapes carefully before applying the stickers, remember you can always gently file the edges of the press-ons after applying them to refine the shape to your liking. Just be careful not to damage the sticker design.
Application is Key: For maximum longevity, always prep your natural nails by gently buffing, pushing back cuticles, and wiping with alcohol to remove any oils. Make sure the adhesive tabs or glue are applied evenly. A good topcoat over your entire press-on (after stickers are applied) acts like a sealant and makes them last even longer, protecting your beautiful designs.
Finding new 'DIY Press Ons inspo' is half the fun! It's not just about saving money; it's about the creative outlet and the sheer satisfaction of wearing a manicure you designed yourself. Plus, for me, it’s been incredibly rewarding to see my nails look so healthy and vibrant. It’s a small act of self-care that makes a big difference. I hope these extra ideas spark your own creativity and help you create some stunning, budget-friendly press-on masterpieces!
I ALWAYS get my pressons on shein. It saves me $$ and the nails come out so cute! Your nails look great 🥰 and happy late birthday :))
