This is just the beginning and basically an intro , will post more advice for creatives and artist later today so tap in and stay tuned fr 💗🎀
As someone who has navigated the creative path as a neurodivergent artist, I can truly relate to the challenges of balancing self-care with ambition. It's not easy to consistently stay motivated when the world around us seems overwhelming or unsupportive. However, embracing your unique perspective can be your greatest strength as an artist. One key insight I've learned is that building a sustainable full-time art career requires both patience and relentless belief in yourself. The journey is rarely linear; some days you'll feel inspired and productive, while others might feel like a struggle to even pick up your tools. Allow yourself the grace to rest and recharge, as creative energy is not infinite. Financial stability often feels like a distant dream for artists, especially with the pressures of the current economy. But remember, many have succeeded by starting small—selling art online, taking commission work, or creating digital content to expand their audience. Social media platforms can be a powerful way to showcase your work and connect with a supportive community that values your creativity. The idea of escaping the traditional nine-to-five grind resonates with many creatives, and it’s absolutely possible with dedication and strategic effort. Prioritize building your skills, networking with other artists, and learning how to market yourself effectively. You'll find that the most powerful asset is your belief that you do deserve to live from your art. Above all, don’t fall into the trap of normalizing the 'struggling artist' stereotype. You are capable of redefining what success looks like for you. By continuously putting in the work and refusing to let societal expectations dictate your limits, you carve out your own path to a fulfilling career—one that fuels your passion rather than drains it.
