Yur wassup people! My name is Bruce and I’m a guitarist from New York, trying to find his way to tour around the world and make some history 🫡!
Mm where to start? I’ve been playing guitar since I was 12 and it wasn’t until 2018 when I decided that I want to take this professionally 🥺❤️!
Due to certain circumstances ( AH HEM IFYKYK) , it wasn’t until the end of 2021/ beginning of 2022 when I decided to finally push this even further🙏🏻🥺! I went crazy on my old TikTok account and on my Instagram videos. I did this for around 2 years. THEN FINALLY 2024 happened. Not only did I upload way more videos, I had one of the best years ( if not the best) of my life. From playing with Max Santos in Aventura to being flown out to Virginia for a music video to traveling to Spain and performing in some music videos/ work with some of the biggest names in Sevilla to going to Cali for the first time in my life for an amazing music camp, I know that music has no limits. I’m closer than ever 🥺🫶🏻!!!

Many of you might be wondering, 'How did you actually get those gigs?' or 'What's your practice routine like?' Let's get into it! First off, consistency is key, both with your instrument and your online presence. I mentioned starting guitar at 12. Those early years were all about exploring, learning my favorite songs, and building a solid foundation. But when I decided to go pro in 2018, it shifted. My practice became more structured, focusing on theory, improvisation, and specific techniques. I'd spend hours dissecting solos, practicing scales, and working on my rhythm. It's not always glamorous; sometimes it's just repetition until it becomes second nature. Being ready for any 'tour' opportunity means constant skill refinement. Then came the push in late 2021/early 2022. This was when I really leaned into social media. TikTok and Instagram weren't just for fun anymore; they became my digital stage. I started posting covers, original riffs, and short performance clips consistently. This wasn't about going viral, but about building a portfolio and connecting with other musicians. You never know who's watching! Those platforms opened doors for me, leading to connections that eventually paved the way for opportunities like the ones in 2024. Speaking of 2024, what a year! Playing with Max Santos of Aventura was surreal. That came from years of networking and being ready when the opportunity struck. The trip to Spain for music videos and working with big names in Sevilla was another incredible experience. These weren't just random chances; they were the culmination of showing up, delivering quality work, and building a reputation. Same with the music camp in Cali – it was a chance to learn, collaborate, and expand my musical network even further. Every connection, every jam session, every online share builds towards something bigger. For anyone out there dreaming of a similar path, my biggest advice is this: don't wait for opportunities, create them. Be relentless in your practice. Be authentic online. And most importantly, build genuine relationships. Remember, for me, it's never about 'fans' but always 'supporters' because this journey is better when shared.
