BEES! Would you be scared?

I was at the park this day and this bee kept following me and stayed around when I started eating.

Eventually she landed on my hand!! This had happened so many times with bees before.

I’ve never been stung so I even help bees out of water with my hands sometimes.

Has this ever happened to you?

If so, my mom has always said it’s good luck👀😉

Although many people feel afraid of bees due to the potential for stings, most bees are gentle and prefer avoiding human contact unless provoked. It is common for bees to follow or land on people, especially when they sense sweat or the scent of food, as they search for nectar or moisture. Helping bees in distress, such as rescuing them from water, is a compassionate act that can foster a deeper connection with nature. Knowing a few safety tips—like moving calmly and avoiding sudden swats—can reduce fear and prevent stings. Bee populations face threats from habitat loss and environmental challenges, so learning to coexist peacefully helps support their survival.
