The time I started painting
I never thought I would be good at painting when I’m very bad at drawing.😂
My dad can do it all, he can paint, draw, watercolor, and digital drawing!
I was always so jealous that he can make such beautiful things. One time he even drew me and gave it to me when I was a kid and I still have it in my room. I love that drawing so much it made me cry.💕
So I thought to my head “if he can do it, I can too!!” Then I picked up a pencil and got paper then started going at it. Of course my first couple of times sucked lol, but the thought of me trying put me at ease.
I still suck at drawing but I showed more progress in painting, I never understood why I’m like that but it’s okay. My dad always gave me advice and made me feel better when I couldn’t figure out how to do certain things, so that really helped :) ✨
If you want to start painting, I say go for it!!!
You got to start somewhere💗💗

Painting is a fulfilling form of self-expression that can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of skills. To begin your journey, gather some basic supplies like watercolors, acrylics, or oil paints. Start simple – perhaps practice with basic shapes or landscapes, and don't be afraid of mistakes! Remember, the creative process is all about learning and evolving your technique over time. Consider joining local classes or online tutorials for extra guidance. Many aspiring painters find great inspiration in the art community, sharing progress and receiving feedback. Believing in yourself and staying patient are key elements to growth in painting. Don't rush your process, and enjoy every stroke of your creative journey. Remember, every artist starts somewhere! You've got this! Furthermore, incorporating personal experiences into your art can enhance the meaning behind your work. Reflecting on moments that touched your heart while creating can lead to more impactful pieces. Search for painting communities online where you can showcase your progress, join challenges, and connect with others who share similar interests. Explore hashtags like #paintingideas or #paintinginspo on social media platforms to spark your creativity. Ultimately, the most important thing is to find joy in the process of painting and to keep nurturing your unique artistic voice.
