🔑 Resetting a Yale YDM4109+ Digital Lock
I just bought a resale flat and inherited a Yale YDM4109+ digital lock. The previous owner didn’t reset it and simply told me to “go YouTube.” I tried YouTube and even ChatGPT guides, but nothing worked — the lock kept flashing “lock closed.”

✅ What I learned:
• Always reset your lock when you buy resale — old owners’ PINs/fingerprints/cards may still work.
• The Master PIN is for admin access; user codes/fingerprints/cards must be deleted separately.
• Use menu option 5 to delete all old credentials before re-registering.
• If reset fails, Yale can arrange a technician (service fee applies).
