My score on the 100 things list was…
Hello my Lemon8 friends, I wanted to share with you today with the Lemon8 100 things bucket list!
I wanted to hop on this trend as soon as it came out, I am a sucker for planning, vision boards, goalsetting, and bucket lists of all kinds! I have to say I was a little shocked when I had checked off 54 boxes out of 100. For some reason it was both more than I expected it would be and less! It was really fun to look through all of my accomplishments and dreams I have achieved.
In this post, I highlighted a few of the boxes that were easiest for me to check, and some that took me quite a long time to actually complete.
The easiest box for me to check was most definitely staying up all night talking with your best friend. My husband is easily my best friend in the entire world and on our first date all we did was talk for hours and hours and hours straight through the night.
The hardest box for me to check was forgiving myself for a past mistake. I know many of us struggle to really share the same kindness and forgiveness with ourselves that we so graciously giveaway to others. This is my little note saying that if I can do it too, so can you! Learn from your past and let it go just as you would for a loved one!

Inspired by the buzz around the Lemon8 100 Things List, I’ve realized just how powerful writing down your dreams can be! It's not just a checklist; it's a living roadmap for personal growth and intentional living. If you’re looking to create your own 'before I am 100' bucket list or just want to challenge yourself with 100 goals, here's how you can make it happen and turn those dreams into achievements. Why Create Your Own 100 Things List? For me, it’s about more than just checking off boxes. It’s about being proactive in creating the life I want to live. A bucket list encourages you to step out of your comfort zone, discover new passions, and build incredible memories. It helps you prioritize what truly matters and offers a fantastic way to reflect on all the amazing experiences you’ve already had. Seeing '54 COMPLETED' out of '100 Bucket List Ideas' is incredibly motivating! How to Build Your Ultimate Bucket List Starting a '100 things list' can feel daunting, but it doesn't have to be. Don't worry about perfection; just start brainstorming! Think in categories to get the ideas flowing: Personal Growth: This could include things like 'write a list of things you're grateful for,' 'learn a new skill,' or even the tough but rewarding 'forgive yourself for a mistake you made.' These are often the 'HARDEST BOXES' but yield the most profound personal triumphs. Relationships: From simple joys like 'stay up all night talking with a loved one' to life-changing moments like 'marry the love of your life,' these items strengthen your connections. Adventures & Travel: Think big (travel to a foreign country) or small (explore a new hiking trail in your city). Career & Education: Goals like 'graduate college,' 'get a promotion,' or 'publish your first Lemon8 post' can be incredibly fulfilling. Creative Pursuits: Start a new hobby, paint a masterpiece, or write a short story. Wellness: Focus on physical and mental health goals. Just jot down everything that comes to mind. You can always refine it later. Remember, some items will be 'EASIEST' to check off, while others will be true challenges. Turning Dreams into Bucket List Achievements Once your list starts taking shape, the real fun begins: achieving them! Here are a few tips I've picked up: Break It Down: A big goal like 'travel the world' can be broken into smaller steps: 'save $X for flights,' 'research destinations,' 'book first trip.' Set mini-deadlines: For some goals, having a timeline can help keep you on track. Others might be more flexible. Celebrate Small Wins: Every time you check off an item, whether it's an 'easiest' one or a 'hardest' one, take a moment to celebrate. That feeling of accomplishment fuels your motivation for the next goal. Review and Adapt: Your list isn't set in stone. Your dreams and priorities will evolve, so revisit your list regularly. You might add new items, remove old ones that no longer resonate, or even rephrase existing ones. Embrace the journey of your '100 Things List.' It’s a beautiful way to live intentionally, chase your dreams, and collect a lifetime of incredible achievements and cherished memories.
